After plans to ease lockdown were announced in February, a number of UK festivals have revealed they're gearing up to go ahead this summer while taking all the necessary precautions. After a truly uneventful 2020, here's every festival hoping to take place:

Reading and Leeds festival

Date: August 27-29

Organisers of the Reading and Leeds music festivals confirmed it will be returning in late August for the Bank Holiday weekend, with Post Malone, Queens of Stone Age, Stormzy and Liam Gallagher all confirmed to headline. The Oasis star's reaction to the news was as about as Liam Gallagher as you can get: "READING n LEEDS c'mon you f**kers LG."

Camp Bestival

Date: July 29-August 1

Rob da Bank, the organiser of family-friendly Camp Bestival, confirmed it's expected to go ahead this summer. The festival will return to its usual home at Lulworth Castle at the end of July, and Friendly Fires, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Fatboy Slim are expected to perform.

Field Day

Date: August 29

Field Day will be taking place on August 29 (previously scheduled for July 10) at The Drumsheds in north London. Maribou State, Mount Kimbie and Jungle will all be performing DJ sets.

Big Feastival

Date: August 27-29

The festival will return to Alex James's farm in the Costwolds this August, with Nile Rogers, Sigala and Rag‘n’Bone Man confirmed to perform. Camping tickets, day tickets and weekend tickets are available to buy.

Isle of Wight Festival

Date: September 16-19

The organisers announced they pushed the festival back from June to mid-September, while revealing they're "hoping to bring back as many artists as they can". Performers previously lined up - and now TBC - include Lewis Capaldi, Lionel Richie, Snow Patrol and Duran Duran.

Wellnergy

Date: September 4-5

Surrounded by the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, Wellnergy is a brand new feel-good event designed to support wellbeing in body and mind. With more than 100 wellness experts signed up to deliver talks and with a focus on fitness, food, mindfulness, sound and laughter, the festival promises to be a fun and enriching experience.

One Island

Date: September 3-5

Another new festival experience, One Island will take place on Osea Island which is located just 40 mins outside of London in Essex. Promoters Candypants are offering "dancing, glamping, beach hopping, pool parties and sunset raves". Festival goers can also expect beach BBQs, cocktail bars and boutique food stalls.
