10 Caribbean-founded Instagram food accounts to follow

·3-min read

In The Know is proud to celebrate Caribbean American Heritage Month. During this month, our team will highlight a wide range of Caribbean and Caribbean American-owned brands. We encourage you to support today and beyond.

There are thousands of food Instagram accounts dedicated to comfort food recipes, plant-based eats, cities’ best dishes and more. However, one area that could use more attention on the platform is Caribbean cuisine

It’s not always easy to find authentic Caribbean recipes, and as some food bloggers mention, that’s because these recipes are made with a pinch of this and a pinch of that — with feeling. But some bloggers have stepped up to create new recipes and write out old ones to share their culture with the masses.

These Caribbean-founded Instagram food accounts aren’t just pretty pictures of jerk salmon and lamb curry. Give them a follow to get the tips, tricks and recipes for making your own Caribbean food at home.
