I know I’m not alone when I say I’ve found it hard to stay motivated in 2020. My workout regimen is already lackadaisical, and we can probably all agree it gets difficult to muster up any passion when you’re distracted by the world — for lack of a better term? — falling apart around us.
And trust me, I’m not getting any ideas about “New Year’s resolutions” for 2021, either. If this past year has taught us anything, it’s that we’re just lucky to have made it to another ball drop. (I’m just simply trying to survive until the next one, TBH!)
That said, getting myself up, moving and out of my apartment has been great for my mental health this year. (Of course — it’s science.) So for those of us who plan on potentially changing out of sweatpants in 2021 and maybe doing some cardio or yoga, take it from me — cute athleisure is a major motivator.
Below, I’ve rounded up the best workout sets that might actually inspire you to work out in the new year. No pressure, though.

I’m not kitten around when I say my Outdoor Voices sets have lasted me for years, and this leopard-print top with matching leggings is the cat’s meow. (Sorry, I’ll stop now.)

You may have previously seen me confess my adoration for inclusive, eco-friendly activewear brand Girlfriend Collective — and this limited-edition, earthy “Thyme” hue is already a new favorite of mine. (Just take all my money, GC!)

Quirky contemporary fashion brand Staud recently released a collaboration with New Balance, and the results didn’t disappoint. This long-sleeve turtleneck top is a must-have for chilly-day runs.
