13 Reasons Why stars Alisha Boe and Brandon Flynn are set to reunite in the "experimental" new movie Who Am I?
According to Deadline, the actors, who played Jessica Davis and Justin Foley in the controversial Netflix show, signed on to join existing cast members Odessa A'zion (Grand Army), Gideon Adlon (The Craft: Legacy), Ava McCoy (God Friended Me) and Hari Nef (Assassination Nation) in the mysterious indie picture.
Cliff Powell, Otmara Marrero and Isabella Salimpour round out the cast as plot details are currently being kept under wraps.
The movie marks the feature debut of New York-based filmmaker Johanna Block, who is also reteaming with a familiar face herself in producer Adam Faze. The twosome worked together twice last year on the scripted podcast series Day by Day.
Block's episode starred Moxie's Josephine Langford as a young woman suffering a panic attack in the midst of quarantine. It became the series’ top hit, reaching the top 10 on Apple Podcasts and trending on Twitter.
Both Flynn and Boe appeared in other instalments of the podcast series, as well as their Who Am I? cast-mates Nef, Adlon and Marrero.
"I couldn't be more excited to announce my feature film debut to the world," Block recently wrote on Instagram. "It's been an honor to work with such an incredible cast and crew to build this beautiful project together.
"Put my heart and soul into writing and directing this. Yessss, I made a movie! I cannot wait for everyone to see what we created."
