What did Greta Gerwig, Lily Aldridge and Mindy Kaling all have in common at Sunday evening's Academy Awards? They all paid a visit to Hollywood beauty guru Joanna Vargas for some major skin TLC ahead of the red carpet.

From the Oscars to the Met Gala to Fashion Week and every red carpet in between, Vargas has long been hailed as the esthetician to the stars -- and she boasts an extensive list of high-profile clientele to show for it. Everyone from Julianne Moore to Brooke Shields and Naomi Watts has been primped and pampered by Vargas, who owns both her own skincare line and salons on both coasts.

Of course, her facials, which involve cutting-edge technology and clean ingredients, don't come cheap (her new Twilight facial, for example, is priced at $1200), but Vargas is passing along her coveted words of wisdom in the form of a (highly-anticipated) new book.

Hot off the heels of awards season, the beauty guru is launching her new book, "Glow From Within," to break down her biggest tips and tricks on everything from easy DIY facemasks to the best foods for your skin.

"I decided to write the book because I’ve been doing facials for almost 20 years and I have a tendency to hear about the same concerns from women all over the world," the expert told AOL Lifestyle.

"Every client has their own personal story with their skin, but most people think your skin is about your DNA. Part of what I do is educate my clients and explain that your skin is telling a story about what’s happening inside your body or happening in your life."

Vargas explained that she's often contacted by multiple people with the same skincare concerns, questions that she tackles in her new book.

"I get lots of DMs from people all over asking questions, so I wanted to create a guide so that even if I never meet them or if they’re not based in LA or NYC to come into my salon, they can still get my tips and expert advice," she continued. "The book is about my advice, key ingredients, finding a key routine, what you can do to change the appearance of your skin, and much more."

She continued, "A beautiful, glowing face is merely the sum of many parts, and nutrition is central to all of that."

The book will be released on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and is available for pre-order now.
