Prudential Municipal High-Income A PRHAX seeks maximization of income, which is tax-exempted. PRHAX invests a large chunk of its assets in municipal debt securities that are considered fixed-income securities and expected to provide tax-free returns. The fund may also invest in securities that provide interest income which is not exempted from the federal alternative minimum tax (AMT). The Prudential Municipal High-Income A fund has three-year annualized returns of 4.4%.
