Holby City spoilers follow.

Next week on Holby City, Josh falls back into worrying habits on his birthday, while Kylie makes a big mistake and Lucky is urged to see the light.

Here is a full collection of the six biggest moments coming up:

1. Josh falls back into worrying old habits

It’s Josh’s birthday, and Ange has thrown him a surprise celebration – completely oblivious to what's going on.

Josh struggles with the food oriented nature of Ange's plans and is soon falling back into dangerous habits.

After making himself sick, Josh's behaviour takes a more worrying turn and it's not long before his work is suffering as a result.

2. Lucky struggles to cope

Lucky isn’t able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and is still planning to take her own life.

With Max refusing to aid her, Lucky reels an unwitting Kylie into her plan and ends up overdosing.

Max quickly realises what's happened and manages to revive her, but Lucky still remains adamant that she doesn't want to live afterwards.

3. Kylie tries to help Lucky

Worried for Lucky, Kylie tries to help by bringing in an old patient of hers called Alex, who also struggled to adjust to his tetraplegia and contemplated suicide.

Lucky is pleased to see Alex, who is quick to remind Lucky that she always told him to consider everything, and everyone, he had to live for during his darkest days.

Although Lucky is inspired by how Alex has managed to turn his life around, she later reminds Max that his story isn't her story – and that she doesn't want to live with her disability.

4. Hanssen and Russ have a close call

The AAU doctors are facing a diagnostic challenge but disaster strikes when Hanssen and Russ get stuck in a store cupboard.

The duo desperately try to find a way to get in time for their appointments, but can Ollie save the day in the meantime?

5. Josh opens up to Eli

As Josh's struggles intensify, Eli grows suspicious of his behaviour when he is unable to reach him amid an emergency with a patient.

Backed into a corner, Josh tells Eli the truth – he had bulimia as a teenager and is having a relapse. Supportive, Eli urges Josh to tell Ange what's happening but he refuses – insisting that it'll change the dynamics of their relationship forever.

Josh makes Eli promise not to tell anyone what's going on, but what will Eli do?

6. Max and Kylie clash

Max gives Kylie the seal of approval at the start of her shift, having become aware of her budding relationship with Louis.

Sadly, the harmony doesn't last long due to Kylie's mistake regarding Lucky's medication.

Although Lucky had deliberately misled Kyle in a bid to end her life, Max places the blame solely with Kylie – and accuses her of nearly killing her friend.

Max then gets personal by insisting that Kylie isn't welcome at her house, and never will be, but how will Louis feel about the feud between his mum and girlfriend?

Holby City airs these scenes on Tuesday, October 26 at 7.50pm on BBC One.
