Next week on Casualty, Jan risks everything for Ross, while Connie and Jacob come to blows and Charlie takes a bet on love.
Here's a full collection of the seven biggest moments to watch out for:
1. Jan prepares to risk everything
An anxious Jan gets the call she's been dreading – today is the day she needs to drop off the drugs in the prison.
Knowing that her son's life depends on it, Jan is given instructions about what to do – with Ross telling her that there'll be some sort of 'accident' to get her called to the prison.
Jan then faces an anxious wait for the call, snapping at both Leon and Ffion in the process.
2. Jan makes her move
When she's called out to the death of a patient she knows, Jan's sadness is overshadowed by the realisation that she could steal drugs from them. Despite this, an anxious Jan sneaks the drugs into her bag.
When the call to the prison comes in, Jan jumps into action. She's then mortified to see the prisoner with slash marks to the throat, but distracts Leon while she smuggles the drugs under the bed.
Jan and Leon then work together to save the prisoner's life, before rushing him to the ED so that he can be stabilised.
3. Connie struggles with Jacob's new relationship
Connie's day gets off to a bad start when she spots Jacob and Tina flirting outside the hospital and she takes her frustrations out on her colleagues.
When she sees Jacob giving Tina the tour of the ED, Connie hones in on them and makes some spiteful comments.
Although Jacob is furious at her attitude, he quickly cuts through her rage and forces Connie to confess what is going on with Grace.
4. Jan makes a devastating discovery
After carrying out the crime, Jan's guilt overwhelms her as she desperately tries to contact Ross afterwards.
Terror then floods over Jan all over again when Leon mentions that a prisoner has been brought into the hospital and is in a bad way.
As Jan grapples with her conscience, she is horrified to discover that the aforementioned prisoner had collapsed after taking an overdose of prescription medication. What has Jan done?
5. Jacob and Connie have an explosive showdown
Despite their brief reconciliation over Grace, Jacob and Connie soon find themselves at odds again.
When Connie continues to intimidate an unsuspecting Tina, Jacob loses his cool and demands to know what's going on.
Relieved to finally have an outlet for her anger, Connie snaps at Jacob's double standards – accusing him of playing the hero when it comes to Grace, while moving his new girlfriend into the ED.
Jacob fights back, reminding Connie that she was the one who ended it but is surprised when she lets slip that she still has feelings for him.
6. Jacob makes a decision
Thrown by his realisation about Connie's true feelings, Jacob quickly shoots down any hopes she may have of a reconciliation.
Insisting he is happy with Tina, Jacob tells Connie that she's missed her chance and there's no way back for them now.
Crushed and humiliated, Connie retaliates by insisting that he doesn't need to feel any obligation to Grace anymore. Is this the end of the road for #Jonnie?
7. Charlie creates a betting ring
Having spotted Ethan merrily bounce off of Connie's wrath, Charlie and Rosa joke about the new-parent glow he's sporting and also question his feelings for Fenisha.
While Rosa is impressed with their co-parenting arrangement, Charlie is more sceptical and is convinced it will ultimately lead to something romantic.
Rosa then challenges Charlie to put his money where his mouth is, betting him £20 that Ethan and Fenisha won't be together in a month.
Charlie happily seals the deal but is alarmed when he later realises their secret wager has spread vastly out of control...
Casualty airs these scenes on Saturday, March 6 on BBC One.
