Abandoned Renault at a train station stolen 79 miles away
Police checks revealed an abandoned Renault at a train station had recently been stolen from a road 79 miles away.
Hertfordshire Constabulary officers on patrol in Kings Langley noticed a car “left in an odd place” in Station Road, by the train station.
Officers found it unlocked and their checks revealed it had been stolen in Sussex.

The force recovered the vehicle and contacted police in Sussex.
Sussex Police have confirmed that a silver Renault was taken from an address in Keymer Road, Hassocks, without the owner’s consent on February 17.
No arrests have been made.
Driving from Keymer Road to Kings Langley Station should take around an hour and a half, according to Google Maps.
Hertfordshire Constabulary shared an image of the car and information about it being found on March 27.
