Canada pulled off an on-brand celebration after a key goal against Mexico.

Canadian soccer fans were treated to an all-time goal celebration during Canada's World Cup qualifying match against Mexico on Tuesday.

With Canada already leading 1-0 thanks to a first-half marker from Cyle Larin, the 26-year-old put home his second of the contest courtesy of a beautiful feed from Stephen Eustáquio off a free kick.

While the finish was stunning, what had Canada — and soccer fans around the world — talking was the perfect celebration from Sam Adekugbe.

As Larin took his celebration to the corner, Adekugbe flung himself into the snow pile inside Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.

Adekugbe, when asked about playing in cold weather ahead of Tuesday's game, said the coldest conditions he remembers suiting up in came in Norway's Eliteserien.

"Probably, Norway, small town called Tromsø, got down to -15 [C]," Adekubge said after the Canadian national team trained indoors Monday at the Scottish Dome on Edmonton's south side.

"It was cold but we survived," he told the Canadian Press.

Mexico didn't have nearly as much fun in the snow, as the team's comeback fell short in the 2-1 loss to Canada.

With the victory, Canada moved to the top of the table in its qualifying group and the country's fans of The Beautiful Game couldn't be more thrilled.
