Adele shares previously unseen photos to celebrate famous friend's birthday

From Red Online

Adele doesn't post on Instagram very often, but when she does, she always makes an impact.

The superstar took to social media this weekend to celebrate her close friend Nicole Richie's birthday. Adele posted several snaps taken with Richie, and a video in which the former The Simple Life star jumped out at the singer and gave her a scare.

'Happy belated birthday to my daily dose of grace @nicolerichie I admire you and love you so much,' she captioned the pics. 'You are the epitome of self preservation, self love and absolute savagery! You are so so cherished by so many angel girl! Keep making us laugh babes, we adore you to the moon and back ♥️.'

As per usual, Adele looked stunning in every single snap. In one of the photos, the musician posed in a beautiful off-the-shoulder evening gown. In another, she cuddled up to Richie and a giraffe.

According to People, Adele decided to make some major lifestyle changes in recent years. An alleged friend of the superstar told the publication, 'In the past, the stress from balancing work and being a mum was intense... She wanted to find a way to balance things better'. Apparently, by cutting back on sugar and alcohol, 'she is now in a very good place both physically and mentally'.

Adele's former trainer, Pete Geracimo, also explained, 'She quit smoking, reduced her drinking, got rid of sugar and stopped eating processed foods... She made healthier food choices and is training regularly.'
