ADNOC invests 1.8 bln dirhams to upgrade Bab oilfield

ABU DHABI, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC) will invest 1.8 billion dirhams to upgrade its Bab onshore field and sustain a long-term crude oil production capacity of 485,000 bpd, the company said on Wednesday.

ADNOC awarded the contract to Archirodon Construction Overseas to build the facilities and infrastructure, the statement added. (Reporting by Stanley Carvalho, editing by Louise Heavens)
