Aisling Bea treated Gogglebox fans to her best Prue Leith impression on tonight's episode for Stand Up To Cancer (October 15).

The comedian, who is one of this year's new additions to the telethon special, was joined on her couch by her North London neighbour Rob Delaney, of Deadpool fame.

Celebrities and regular Goggleboxers came together tonight to watch, among others, this week's episode of The Great British Bake Off, in which judge Prue Leith tasked amateur bakers to make sticky toffee puddings in the technical challenge.

Hearing Prue's posh English accent, so different from her own Irish twang, Aisling asked Rob whether he'd like to hear her impression of Prue.

"Sure," said Rob, whose face quickly took on an aghast expression as soon as Aisling started, repeating a sentence Prue just said on TV.

"Isn't that very good, from what you just heard?" Aisling asked.

"Yeah..." said Rob, nodding and looking away, clearly unimpressed.

Aisling then scoffed and turned away, very disappointed, as Rob started laughing.

To be fair, Aisling hasn't had the best week when it comes to accents, with fans criticising her English accent in the trailer for the upcoming Home Alone remake.

Of the other new celebrity additions to the Gogglebox roster, fans seemed to particularly enjoy Vigil stars Suranne Jones and Adam James.

"Even chilling at home Suranne Jones looks stunning," wrote one viewer on Twitter.

"Living for Suranne Jones on #Gogglebox in her PJs," added another, with a third also mentioning the actress's comfy wear: "Pls Suranne is so funny and the dogs trousers? iconic."

"I would watch a TV show of Suranne Jones and Adam James just hanging out," was one commenter's verdict.

Tonight's show also saw Michael Sheen and his partner, Drag Race UK duo Michelle Visage and Graham Norton, and Matt Lucas and his mum take part in the charity event.
