Yahoo Finance Aldi has launched a new grapefruit pale ale and it looks so refreshing
Aldi has announced it will now be stocking a grapefruit pale ale as part of its summer drinks collection.
The “Sharp Tongue Grapefruit Pale Ale” from the Hop Foundry is described as a “delicious fruit-infused lager with notes of citrus” which is “vibrant and fresh - perfect for those summer evenings.”
The refreshing drink would be ideal for weekend barbecues and summer picnics, particularly as the grapefruit pale ale comes in cans, making it easy to pop in your picnic hamper.
The Sharp Tongue beverage isn’t the only fruity drink to be offered at Aldi, however. The retailer has also revealed a strawberry lager also from the Hop Foundry called “We’re Jamming.”
This drink is described as being “balanced and crisp” with “a delicious strawberry aroma” which would also be “a winner in the hot weather.”
If it’s something a bit more tropical you were after, however, the New England IPA by 10 4 Brewing is a “full juicy IPA with tropical flavours” according to the can.
Aldi described the drink as having a “tropical fruit twist” which would be “a hit for those with a sweeter palate.”
As well as the fruitier additions to its drinks stock, Aldi everything from award-winning wines and classic ales to flavoured gins and tequila-flavoured beer.
Last week, for instance, the retailer announced a French pink gin “La Fleuriste” which looks so chic it’s worth having just for the glamorous bottle.
