It recently launched a long hot water bottle, which we’re touting as a winter must-have, and it slashed the price of a Salter coffee machine that’s bound to help get your mornings off to a flying start. But, that’s not all, because it’s now excelled itself once again.
Owing to the success of its velvet scalloped armchair, which sold out almost instantly, the budget-friendly retailer has extended the collection to now include a velvet scalloped bed, both as a normal bed frame and a space-saving ottoman style. The designs are available in double or king-size and you have the choice of velvet in pink, navy or grey depending on your interiors.
Thanks to the current Cottagecore trend, which is all about adding a traditional English countryside feel to your home, scalloped detailing and velvet fabrics are very in vogue, meaning this new piece of furniture will enhance your bedroom decor, but luckily it won’t make too much of a dent in your bank account.

A designer aesthetic at a supermarket price is bound to get anyone excited, and when we first saw the price of this scalloped bed frame we had to double-take. Featuring a shell-shaped, scalloped headboard with deep vertical pleat detailing, it resembles the Oliver Bonas Flora azure double headboard, which costs £495, but will set you back a mere £249.99 for a double, and you can get the king-size for an extra £50. We did the maths and that works out as half the price for an entire bed frame!
