Yahoo Finance Aldi launches two new Gin Liqueurs in time for the festive season
Aldi’s nostalgic Infusionist range is back with two brand new flavours - The Infusionist Spiced Biscuit Gin Liqueur and The Infusionist Salted Maple Fudge Gin Liqueur.
The first is enriched with distinctive notes of cinnamon, ginger, caramel and vanilla and the recipe has been inspired by Speculoos biscuits which are Belgian wheat flour cookies, not dissimilar to Biscoffs. Aldi confirmed that Google searches of the popular biscuit have gone up 70% this year compared to last so no doubt the latest release will go down a real treat.
The Salted Maple Fudge variety is perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Aldi says of the drink: “boasting rich flavours of salted fudge followed by indulgent notes of sweet maple, this syrupy liqueur is enticingly moreish.”
Both liqueurs can be served neat over ice (as you would an Amaretto) or mixed in a cocktail or a hot drink. For the Spiced Biscuit Gin Liqueur Aldi suggests making a festive spice White Russian while the company say the Salted Maple Fudge Gin will “pimp up a cosy hot chocolate” perfectly.
Both 50cl bottles are priced at just £8.99 and are available in-store but only the Spiced Biscuit Gin Liqueur is available to buy online currently.
The rest of the Aldi Gin Liqueurs in the Infustionist range include Raspberry Jam Donughnut Gin Liqueur, Lemon Drizzle Cake Gin Liqueur, Churros Gin Liqueur, Strawberry & Vanilla Gin Liqueur, Gold Glitte Globe Gin Liqueur and Gold Flake Clementine Gin Liqueur.
