Yahoo Finance Aldi's new haircare range is being backed by a celebrity hairstylist
Many of us are feeling slightly better about our formerly neglected tresses since the hairdressers finally reopened last week (April 12th). Now that we can also hit pubs and outdoor restaurants to socialise with friends and family again, we're enjoying making an effort after months of living in sweatpants.
Aldi's new haircare range Lacura has arrived at the perfect time, and priced at a very affordable 85p per bottle, it won't break the bank.
The range has also been endorsed by celebrity hairstylist Sophie Sugarman, who has worked with TV presenter Laura Whitmore and singer Jessie Ware. Sophie has shared some tips on how to use Aldi's range to create an A-list red carpet look.
Lacura's Professional Oil Complex Shampoo and Conditioner are formulated with six flower essences to keep hair soft, silky, shiny and tangle-free. Sophie says: "Embrace hair textures but find the right products - the Lacura Professional Oil Complex will soften and smooth hair and transform locks with a lustrous shine that's ideal for waves and curls."
Lacura's Professional Mineral Clay Shampoo and Conditioner offers a deep cleanse to help balance, purify and hydrate hair, containing three refined mineral clays to help keep your hair hydrated and shiny. Sophie advises washing your hair twice before styling it.
"The first shampoo is going to deeply cleanse the hair and the second shampoo will add the specific benefits," she explained. "The Lacura Professional Mineral Clay Shampoo is perfect for purifying and deep cleaning hair from root to tip."
Lacura Professional Volume Shampoo and Conditioner contains soy protein to amplify volume and add bounce to your hair.
