Alex Jones's gingham trousers and floral blouse are giving us spring vibes
Alex Jones is inspiring our spring wardrobe, what with her recent cosy lilac cardigan, and now we can't get enough of her gingham trousers, which are happily a high street bargain.
The One Show presenter posted a photo of her outfit backstage at the BBC studios yesterday before going on air, in which she wore a white embroidered floral blouse from Oasis, and trousers from Zara which she teamed with a pair of black heels.
"On air. Hope you're joining us," the TV star captioned her picture on Instagram. "We are talking holidays, scams, homeschooling and we have @wrightyofficial with us. Top from @oasisfashion and trousers are @zara @tesswrightstylist."
The Zara trousers are priced at £27.99 but sadly the Oasis embroidered shirt has now sold out. Oasis says that due to the popularity of the shirt, they may restock in the future, and have asked shoppers to keep an eye on their website for updates.
We like this pretty & Other Stories embroidered cotton blouse, finished with allover broderie anglaise detailing and scalloped hem, as an alternative.
Zara's light mauve gingham trousers are fun for spring too, which are priced at £25.99, and Zara's cropped check trousers with a wide leg, priced at £29.99, are perfect for spring/summer too.
Alex was also encouraging messages of kindness and positivity amongst her fans and followers this week by wearing a gold hoodie that read 'be kind always' from Mamma Life London, which is priced at £50.
"We shouldn’t need a reminder but sometimes, we all do," Alex wrote on Instagram. "I hope you’re all feeling ok. The better weather at the weekend certainly helped the mood in our house. Signs of spring and being able to leave the house without a million layers made a huge difference. Let’s hope for some positive news later from Boris, even if it’s small steps that will make life a bit easier. Keep smiling and wishing you a good week."
Roll on spring!
