Amazon’s 5 best-selling cardio machines will definitely make you sweat

Our team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the products and deals we love. If you love them too and decide to purchase through the links below, we may receive a commission. Pricing and availability are subject to change.

You don’t need to go to the gym to get an intense cardio workout. You can build your own home gym on a budget with some of Amazon’s best-selling cardio machines.

At the moment, Amazon’s No. 1 seller is the NordicTrack T Series Treadmill, and it’s the priciest thing on the list. If you’re a runner, it’s worth shelling out the extra cash. NordicTrack Treadmills are top-of-the-line machines — your local gym probably has one.

However, if you prefer lower-impact workouts or simply want to spend under $300, Amazon has quality machines in that price range as well. While it’s not in Amazon’s top five, the Sunny Health & Fitness Hydraulic Rowing Machine comes in at the 11th spot with over 8,000 five-star reviews. It’s on sale for about $88.

Nordic Track’s T 6.5 Series Treadmill has a 10-inch interactive HHD touchscreen that streams on-demand iFIT workouts and provides your stats. It actually comes with a 30-day iFIT Family Membership to stream live and on-demand classes directly on-screen. After the free trial, membership starts at $39 a month, but you don’t necessarily need it to use this treadmill.

The machine also has 10% OneTouch incline control, 10 mph smart OneTouch speed control and flexible cushioning under the belt to offer a softer impact on joints and imitate a real road running experience.

When you’re done running, you can fold the treadmill up to store it more compactly.

2. Sunny Health & Fitness Indoor Cycle Exercise Bike, $216.62 (Orig. $399)

This exercise bike offers a smooth and quiet ride, so you can get on it as early in the morning as you’d like without waking up the rest of your household. Like most standard spin bikes, the seat and handlebars are adjustable and the resistance system lets you add on and take off as much as you’d like, so you can feel like you’re going uphill or downhill. There’s also an emergency break should you need to bring the bike to an immediate stop.

The bike has a sturdy steel frame, but it only weighs 113.4 pounds and has wheels on the front, so if you need to move it before and after you use it, it won’t be too difficult.

3. Sunny Health & Fitness Magnetic Rowing Machine, $224.99 (Orig. $399)

Rowing works the entire body, and while you can use it for low- or high-impact exercises, it’s easier on the joints than running on the treadmill.

This Sunny Health & Fitness Magnetic Rowing Machine has eight levels of smooth magnetic resistance to work your entire body. It has a digital monitor to track your time, row count and calories. The ergonomically designed seat is cushioned, the handlebars are padded with foam and the foot pedals have a nonslip grip, making the machine comfortable to use as well. When you’re not using it, it conveniently folds up to store out of the way.

4. Sunny Health & Fitness Squat Assist Row-N-Ride Trainer, $99.99 (Orig. $129)

Need help with your squat form? The Row-N-Ride Trainer can help. Place your feet on the pedals, sit your butt on the padded seat, and hold onto the handlebar while you bend your knees like you’re sitting in a chair. Then, use your glutes, legs, core and arms to pull you back upright.

The seat and handlebars are adjustable to your height, and you can adjust the seat angle as well. Squat all the way down, or if you want to go easier on your knees, adjust the seat to stop at a higher angle. There are also three resistance bands you can add to increase intensity.

You can track your progress with a small digital monitor that shows your time, squat count and calories burned. When not in use, the machine folds flat for storing away in a closet or under the sofa.

5. Sunny Health & Fitness SF-E905 Elliptical Machine, $124.14 ($179)

This elliptical machine is incredibly smooth thanks to onboard stabilizers. And it’s relatively compact — only 28 x 17 in. at the base and 57 inches tall. And, it has small wheels for transporting out of the way when you’re not using it. That said, the 11-inch stride length may be a bit shorter than what you’re used to in the gym — but it’s still a great workout.

It has eight resistance levels, so you can adjust your workout to your liking. Dial it down to use while you watch your favorite show, or turn it up if you want a quicker, more intense workout. The handlebars have pulse sensors that can measure your heart rate, which is displayed on a digital monitor, along with time, speed, distance, and calories.
