Amazon Prime members save an extra 20% on pre-orders for the new 'Super Smash Bros.' and 'Mario Party' Switch games

Thanks to E3 2018, we've finally received the official confirmation for a ton of new games that we've been waiting slash dying for.

As expected, Nintendo completely blew it out of the water with numerous huge announcements: Our favorites consisted of new Nintendo Switch versions of Super Mario Party and Super Smash Bros. (Or as we like to call them, the two very best drinking video games of all time).

SEE ALSO: Thanks to E3 there are some huge gaming deals on Nintendo, Sony, Xbox, PS4, and so much more

And both are already available for pre-order on Amazon. Okay, so they don't come out until October (Mario Party) and December (Smash Bros.), but that's not that far off — it's already June and it feels like the holidays were just last month. Both pre-orders are running at $59.99, but if you're a Prime member, you can save an extra 20% and get them for $47.99 each. Amazing.

Pre-ordering guarantees that you'll have the game on the exact day that it's released even if it sells out, so you'll be playing it two to five business days before anyone else even has it. Plus, these games will obviously be super new, so we're not sure how likely it is that they'll go on sale anytime soon. There might be a post-holiday sale for like $5 off. Maybe.

The point: Just pre-order now and save $12. Your future self is already thanking you. (If you're not an Amazon Prime member yet and need to get in on this deal, you can sign up here.)

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate — $59.99 (or $47.99 for Prime members)

"Ultimate" is in the title for a reason: The newest Smash Bros is the extreme mashup you've been waiting for, featuring new stages (including one from Splatoon 2 and one from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) and new fighters (including Inkling and Ridley). With those two newbies, plus all of the same classic characters like Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Jigglypuff, and Kirby, plus old fan favorites like Ice Climbers and Pichu, Nintendo has confirmed that any character who has ever been in Smash will be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. HELL YES.

The actual characters aren't the only things to be updated: Outfits for characters like Link, Zelda, and Mario have been changed to match new stages, and a ton of characters have been given new standard and Final Smash moves.

For $59.99, you can pre-order Super Smash Bros. Ultimate now and make sure you have your hands on it on the very day it's released (December 7 to be exact). If you're a Prime member, you can take an extra 20% off and get it for just $47.99. Happy brawling.

Super Mario Party — $59.99 (or $47.99 for Prime members)

The Switch is about to take the Mario Party series to a whole new level, with new mini-games (80 to be exact) that use the Joy-Con controllers in all types of ways and the ability to double the size of the game board when two players position their mobile-configured switches beside each other. Possibly the best Switch-specific feature is the ability for up to four people to play on separate Joy-Cons on one console, where characters can move across the devices on the special path that the controllers have made. We've also heard rumors that the new Mario Party will support some sort of online play, similar to the idea of Xbox Live.

Aside from the ultra portability afforded by the Swich, the game itself has fun new elements like character Dice Blocks, a new party system, and fun new boards to explore. Aside from traditional returning characters like Mario, Luigi, Daisy, and Peach, you'll now also be able to play as Bowser, Goomba, Koopa Troopa, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, and Waluigi, too. Dude.

For $59.99, you can pre-order Super Mario Party and make sure you have your hands on it on the very day it's released (October 5 to be exact). If you're a Prime member, you can take an extra 20% off and get it for just $47.99
