Easter Sunday is fast approaching, which means people will be exchanging Easter eggs come 12 April.

While Lindt Lindor mini chocolate eggs, as well as Cadbury’s Creme Egg, are available to buy in bulk, some are desperate to buy a savoury alternative.

For those who are simply fed up chocolate, yet still want in on the Easter fun, Walkers has you covered.

The British snack food manufacturer has bucked the trend and released its first ever savoury alternative to chocolate Easter eggs.

Buy it: Sensations Easter ‘Egg’ Gift Box | £19.99

Walkers has created an egg, which contains a sharing bag of Thai Sweet Chilli crisps, as well as a snack bowl to pour the contents into.

It has gone one step further and are treating customers to a 75cl bottle of organic Malbec wine, as well as two wine glasses in the package.

The Easter bundle also includes a £5 credit for Amazon Prime Video, which is perfect for a cosy night in over the upcoming bank holiday.

The Sensations Easter ‘Egg’ retails for £19.99 on Amazon, instead of £35 if shoppers bought each item individually.

This means shoppers will make a saving of £15.

The Sensations Egg is suitable for vegetarians, however, the spicy flavoured crisps contain milk, so it is not advised for vegans, or those intolerant to dairy, to eat.

One thing you have to keep in mind when buying the egg is the age restriction, as customers have to be 18 years old or over to snap up the treat.
