How to Get The Best Deals on Apple Airpods Before Black Friday

These days, it's rare to go for a run or to hit a workout without seeing someone rocking a pair of Apple Airpods. The wireless earphones are one of the world's most popular headsets, with thousands of people buying them for their superior sound quality, easy set-up and Siri capability.

Usually, to get in on the action, you'd have to be willing to part with around £200 to get yourself a pair of Apple Airpods. However, Black Friday is around the corner — so it's time to get yourself on a deal on Apple Airpods.

Best Black Friday Pre-Deals for Apple Airpods

Currently, Apple AirPods sales can be found from dozens of retailers, including Amazon, Very AO, Currys Argos, and Zavvi. The sales are even more appealing when you consider the tech that the Airpods are packing, which includes three hours of playback from 15 minutes of charging, Apple charging case, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and much more.

Even more impressive is the Airpods' touch function, with a double-tap feature that can play music, skip forward or back through tracks and answer phone calls. Similarly, you can say 'Hey Siri' to use your iPhone's Siri functionality for directions, music, phone calls and more.

If you're ready to take your audio experience up a peg, Apple's Airpods Pro (above) have also been discounted in several sales ahead of theBlack Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Airpod Pros have the same look and feel of their predecessor — the standard Airpods — but pack a few new upgrades.

Firstly, the fit is totally customisable with three silicone tips that click into place and help remove external noises. With a 24-hour battery life and a promise that the Airpod Pros are the 'only in-ear headphones' to continually adapt to your ears, it's quite the bargain.

Unsurprisingly, the Apple Airpods Pro are slightly more expensive, usually retailing for £249. Ahead of Black Friday, however, they're discounted by £50 to £199. On a cost-per-use basis, they're an absolute bargain. Get the deal here.

All of which makes the pre-Black Friday sales on Apple Airpods and Airpod Pros an absolute winner. So if you want to upgrade your lifting routine and (probably) hit a new PB through the power of music, all you have to do is hit 'add to basket'. Sounds good, right?

What are Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the entire year and, in the US, it's considered to mark the beginning of the Christmas shopping period. It's punctuated by incredible deals on everything you can imagine, with a sale that lasts all weekend and cruises straight through to 'Cyber Monday', the last day of sales where shoppers grab a serious bargain on presents for themselves and, just maybe, for others.

As for the difference between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there isn't really one. Some discounts are slightly more impressive on Friday over Monday, but they're very similar, if not identical.

Whichever sale you favour, Brits will spent an eye-watering £2.4bn over last year's Black Friday sales — almost double that of 2017. Which leads us to our next question...

When are Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

Black Friday and Cyber Monday land the day after Thanksgiving; but, as you're probably reading this from the UK, we'll give it to you straight: Black Friday will be Friday 26 November and Cyber Monday lands on Monday 29 November.

However, you'll want to keep your eyes on your favourite retailers, as many deals drop throughout the month and especially the week leading up to Friday 26 November.

After Friday 26, the deals continue over the weekend and through to Cyber Monday on Monday 29 November. Some retailers also use 'Bounce-Back Tuesday', on 30 November, to encourage shoppers to grab even more deals.
