Yahoo Finance Fast food chain announces bizarre new product launch: 'Who asked for this?'
Arby’s — yes, the fast-food chain — has announced its plans to release two limited-edition vodkas.

The vodkas are designed to pair well with the chain’s french fries. The Curly Fry Vodka is described as having “preserve[d] the distinguished and authentic flavor profile” of a typical Arby’s curly fry, which, according to the press release, is entirely different from an Arby’s crinkle cut fry.
The second bottle is the Arby’s Crinkle Cut Fry Vodka which is more “subtle” and made with kosher salt and sugar.

The booze will be available online and will ship to those 21 and over in 12 states starting on Nov. 18 for $60 per bottle — the specific states are listed in the press release.
“Though we’ve mastered the art of drive-thru fries, we wanted to take it one step further by making them 80-proof,” Patrick Schwing, the chief marketing officer, said.

“Who asked for this?” one person tweeted. “What do you mix curly fry vodka with?”
“Arby’s Curly Fry Vodka could be peak 2021,” another agreed. “Such a terrible idea.”
“I can’t believe I’m alive at the same times as Arby’s curly fry-flavored vodka,” someone said.
