Ashley Graham urges fans to embrace their summer bodies

Ashley Graham has urged people to embrace their summer bodies regardless of their shape or size.

The supermodel shared a nude selfie on Instagram on Monday in a bid to remind followers to love the skin they are in whatever the season.

"As the weather gets warmer, I know a lot of people struggle with wearing less clothes and showing more skin," she wrote in the caption to accompany the photo.

Ashley went on to post a series of images showing women proudly posing in their underwear, including a close-up shot of stretch marks along with the message: "Beautiful. End of discussion."

The 33-year-old star went on to state that people should have no fears about showing off their bodies in summer clothes and urged fans not to let insecurities stop them from feeling happy.

"Believe me when I say your body is beautiful, and I know it's easy to tell yourself the lie that you're not good enough, thin enough, sexy enough, 'flawless' enough to wear a tank top or a swimsuit, but it's hot out there and so are you," she wrote.

"Don't let your mind stop you from enjoying your life to the fullest (and remember to say 'I love you' to yourself every day)!" she added.

Ashley has previously discussed her frustrations at being labelled a plus-size model, telling WSJ. Magazine in February she hates having to "constantly discuss my body".

The model also revealed she likes posting unfiltered shots on her social media pages so that her fans feel inspired to embrace their body shape.

"This is why I don't post like the 'perfect' Instagram photos," she said. "I keep it real and raw constantly because I want (people) to know that there are women with cellulite, with back fat, with stretch marks.... There are a lot of curvy women, plus-size women, fat women, whatever you want to call them."
