Falling in love on "The Bachelor" is an adventure of its own. From fantasy dates to fantasy suites, romantic hot air balloon rides to extravagent shopping sprees - nothing is "normal" when it comes to what fans affectionately call "Bachelor Nation."
Due to COVID-19, this season's contestants are vying for bachelor Matt James's heart at the Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, Pa. Although there are still cocktail parties and lots of glittery gowns, the pandemic has forced the grandiose dates that have caused production to get creative with date ideas.

After a bizarre wedding obstacle course and a scavenger hunt on a working farm, this week's episode featured a group date that was less than glamorous: bowling.
The women ditched their footwear for some bowling shoes as they competed against one another for a chance to attend an after party with James.
We don't usually play favourites - but even though her team lost the competition and were sent back to the resort, contestant Rachael Kirkconnell wore one of our favourite date night looks that deserves all the roses: leather-look pants.

"Rachael is just a down-to-earth southern girl, really personable and just as sweet as cotton candy, but also really competitive," host Chris Harrison said of Kirkconnell.
