Surely I can’t be the only one who thinks the best thing about Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is the cookie dough chunks? What I wouldn’t give to be able to fill a bathtub with those tasty little morsels and just flap about in there.

A while back, Ben & Jerry’s finally made that dream a possibility by releasing bags of the cookie dough chunks for snacking on/filling bathtubs with.

The bags of cookie dough chunks have been available in the US for a while, but after seeing how crazy everyone was going for those tasty little treats, they were brought over to the freezer aisles of UK supermarkets.

To begin with, there was just a choc chip flavour (not that we're complaining - they're the bomb), but now B&J has released a brand new flavour, and it's right up our street.

Salted caramel!

We first heard about the new caramel version of the chunks when @helenjtea shared the news on Instagram.

Ben & Jerry’s said when they launched the chunks: “We’ve freed the chunks! We know how it goes: sometimes when you’re digging in to a pint of ice cream you’re really just chasing those chunks with reckless abandon. ‘Go straight for the good stuff with a bag of totally snackable cookie dough chunks!”

Now, if cookie dough ice cream really is your jam, why not try Ben & Jerry's new cookie dough-based products: Peace Pops and Rain-dough ice cream tubs.
