This Bayside Estate in Miami’s Coconut Grove Offers Stunning Vistas for $40 Million
Coconut Grove, Miami’s oldest neighborhood, is a favorite among boaters and those who like to be close to all the action but also want to be engulfed in tropical foliage, sequestered among quiet streets with a charming downtown district and easy access to water. One of The Grove’s most impressive waterfront estates, with breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay, is now up for grabs with a $40 million price tag.
The three-story villa at 3080 Munroe Drive sits on an acre of land in the guard-gated Camp Biscayne enclave and contains eight bedrooms and eight baths, plus a powder room, in over 10,000 square feet. A light-filled great room and expansive terraces are two of the standout features, along with alfresco dining and lounging areas overlooking the swimming pool and 200 feet of water frontage.

The little details aren’t so little, either. Built in 2002, the mansion plays up its Italian influence with a white stucco exterior accented by terracotta roof tiles and an arched entryway. The backside of the home reveals all three levels of the home, each with a terrace that spans the width of the home. The two lower terraces are sheltered, while the upper is exposed to the sun. All face Biscayne Bay.
A Jerusalem stone staircase greets you in the double-height foyer, where mirrored panels around the upper section mimic windows, bounce light around, and add a dose of drama. The great room, a vast, limestone-floored room that stretches the entire width of the house, provides ample room for a spacious lounge and a dining area. A row of French doors allow tons of light to filter into the room and open to a loggia with open views of the shimmering water.
A modern chef’s kitchen is nearby and includes everything an amateur cook or a professional chef might want or need, from a gas range to multiple ovens and a marble island.
Many of the bedrooms in the home are so deluxe that you might have difficulty pinpointing the primary suite. Each of the bedrooms on an upper level includes balcony access and scenic views. The homeowner’s private quarters not only take advantage of Miami’s sunny nature by factoring in a host of windows, but also feature a walk-in closet and an ensuite bath with walnut and cherry wood accents. It, too, has French doors to a terrace.
Elsewhere, the home offers an office, a family room with a fireplace, and a fitness room with outdoor access. The grounds incorporate a swimming pool and multiple lounge areas—from a covered patio to a 40-foot dock—where firepits and comfortable seating help you relax while taking in the views.
The home is just a quick hop to Coconut Grove’s many dining and shopping options at the open-air CocoWalk mall, as well as the tree-lined downtown streets filled with charming boutiques such as Moorish Ambiance and alfresco eateries like the crowd-favorite Sawdelles.
