Yahoo Finance Bella Thorne Speaks Out About Her Open Relationship with Rapper Mod Sun & Influencer Tana Mongeau
Bella Thorne doesn’t want to define her open relationship with Mod Sun and Tana Mongeau.
The Famous in Love star, 21, dished on their romance during an interview with Gay Times for their February 2019 issue.
“I don’t think anybody will really understand the bonds that I share with Mod or Tana,” Thorne told the outlet.
“Yeah, we joke around about poly, but we aren’t in the sense that we don’t put a word, a box or label too many things. It is what it is.”
In October, Thorne revealed to the Los Angeles Times that she is dating both rapper Sun, 31, and YouTube star and singer Mongeau, 20.
Thorne has been open about being bisexual since 2016 telling, Gay Times, “It seems like no one understands bisexuality at all.”
“In this world, it’s like you’re either gay or you’re straight; there’s no in between. If you f— a guy once, you must be gay. Like, what? No. That’s just being fluid.”
“It’s not a gay or straight box,” the magazine’s cover star continued. “It’s this middle in-between world that nobody can put in a box, which makes them so mad. People are so mad that they can’t put it in a box, can’t explain it and can’t see how it works that they hate on it.”

Thorne has shared a number of photos of herself with Sun and Mongeau on her Instagram.
For Halloween, the “throuple,” as many fans have dubbed them, dressed up as dolls Chucky, Tiffany and their son Glen from the film Seed of Chucky.
“3 way couple costumes,” Thorne captioned the shot, which shows herself dressed as Tiffany and Sun as Chucky and Mongeau as Glen.
In September, Mongeau shared a heartfelt tribute to Thorne in honor of their one year anniversary.
“It’s so crazy to me how fast a year can fly by when you’re surrounded by love you never thought was possible,” Mongeau wrote alongside a photo of herself and Thorne sticking their tongues out at each other.
“You swept me up and introduced me to your entire world, you made my wildest dreams happen, you believed in me in every aspect when no one else did.”
“You are the most perfect incredible, talented, confident, resilient, STRONG, SELFLESS individual I’ve ever met and every second I second I spend with you I’m inspired and grateful,” Mongeau continued.
“Here’s to a year with the girl that made me realize that for me, love has no gender or boundaries.”
In 2017, Mongeau released her first song called “Hefner” featuring Thorne.
