Yahoo Finance Ben & Jerry’s Is Finally Launching Its Iconic Vegan Ice Cream, Change The Whirled, In The UK
We’ve always been jealous of the Ben & Jerry’s flavours available in the UK that us Brits can’t get our sticky little fingers on.
So, to hear that one of Ben & Jerry’s iconic vegan flavours is launching in the UK is music to our ears.
Change the Whirled, which honours American football player and prominent activist, Colin Kaepernick, is made up of a caramel non-dairy sunflower butter base with fudge chips, graham cracker swirls and chocolate cookie swirls.
Does vegan ice cream get any better than this?
The flavour was concocted to honour Colin's activism in pursuit of racial justice, a portion of the proceeds will go to support his Know Your Rights Camp. Pretty cool, right?
Colin says of his involvement with the ice cream, “I'm honoured to partner with Ben & Jerry's on Change The Whirled. Their commitment to challenging the anti-Black roots of policing in the United States demonstrates a material concern for the wellbeing of Black and Brown communities. My hope is that this partnership will amplify calls to defund and abolish the police and to invest in futures that can make us safer, healthier, and truly free.”

Change the Whirled will be available to buy from the end of April from Ben & Jerry’s Soho Scoop Shop or nationwide via selected Dominoes stores. A tub will set you back £5.49.
