It should come as no surprise that Amazon launched its Black Friday 2019 deals a week before most retailers. Starting from last Friday, Amazon has been offering some of the best Black Friday deals on televisions, laptops, headphones and more. Today there are brand-new deals available on toothbrushes, phones, tablets and smart home devices.
As the retailer that brought the November sales to the UK from the States, Amazon goes all-out on Black Friday. Last year alone, customers saved over £40 million in Amazon's Black Friday sales, and this year should be no different.
Amazon is not alone in starting its Black Friday sales before the official sales date (this Friday, November 29). John Lewis and Currys PC World also launched their offers last Friday. Yet Amazon has a slight advantage because, on top of selling electricals and gadgets at a discounted price, the retailer also has Amazon-branded products (Echo Dots, Fire tablets, etc) in its sales.

There are numerous Black Friday deals to choose from today, but the below are the ones to especially look out for, according to The Telegraph:
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9i Wireless Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones - was £450, now £230. These headphones have received raved reviews for sound quality and noise cancellation. They can connect to two devices at one time, and have a far-reaching Bluetooth range. Available in black or cream.
Oral-B Genius 9000 CrossAction Electric Toothbrush - was £299.99, now £78.99. This round-headed toothbrush has six brushing modes and a pressure control sensor to alert you when you're brushing too hard.
LG Electronics OLED55B9PLA 55-Inch UHD 4K HDR Smart OLED TV with Freeview Play - was £1,799.99, now £1,099. Expect excellent picture quality, due to the 4K Ultra High Definition Screen, optimised with OLED features, on this smart TV, which you connect to Alexa devices.

1. Echo Dot (3rd Gen)
The popular smart speaker, enabled with Alexa, runs on voice command, meaning you can ask Alexa to play music, read the news, set an alarm, control compatible smart devices and answer any burning questions. The new Echo Dot (3rd Gen) with an LED display to show the time and weather is also in the sales, with a 42 per cent discount, but will not be available until December 22.

The Echo Show 8 is a surprise addition to this year's sales, given that it is a brand new model. Also in today's sales, the older model of the Echo Show 5 has a 38 per cent discount, at £49.99, down from £79.99.

Promising to improve gum health in just two weeks, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean electric toothbrush may be a worthwhile investment this Black Friday. Philips claim that the toothbrush will remove 10 times more plaque than a manual toothbrush and reviewers have praised the toothbrush for removing stains from their teeth and being gentle on their gums. Now, you can get this toothbrush with an impressive 67 per cent discount.
4. Ring Video Doorbell Pro
Keep an eye on your home with the smart Ring Video Doorbell Pro, which allows you to see who's at your door — even when you're not in the house. The Ring Video Doorbell 2 is also in the sales, at £119, down from £179.
5. Denby Imperial Blue Boxed Tableware Set, 16-piece
Denby tableware is instantly recognisable, and now this iconic Imperial Blue set is being sold at a 58 per cent discount. The Samsung Galaxy S9 may have been upstaged by the newer Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+, but it is still a flexible and state-of-the-art model. Now, Amazon is offering this phone in a bundle with a Bluetooth speaker, which is sold out elsewhere on the site. For an even bigger saving, Amazon is now selling the Samsung S8+ with the same speaker for just £329, down from £796.94.

As part of Amazon's Black Friday deals, the Huawei P30 model is being heavily discounted across the site. This model, with its high-quality OLED screen and supreme picture quality (it has a triple camera), is being sold at 30 per cent off from its original retailing price.
13. Apple iPhone XS - Gold
This relatively new iPhone model is a surprise entrant for Amazon's Black Friday deals. The XS has a great quality camera, incorporating Portrait mode (where the camera focuses on the person and blurs the background, making your friend's face look sharper), depth control (where you can adjust the background blur) and Smart HDR (a professional camera technique that creates super high quality photos). While the camera is the star feature, there's also a 5.8-inch screen, ideal for catching up on your favourite shows on the commute, and the phone is water resistant.
14. Fire HD 10 Tablet
This is the newest Fire tablet from Amazon, and is up to 30 per cent faster than the previous models. It has 10 hours' battery and a 10.1" screen, so you can watch movies with ease on your commute. Plus, you can expect high quality picture definition, due to its 1080p Full HD display.

You can keep track of incoming calls and messages, and also listen to music, making it the ideal companion for any jog or (as it's waterproof) swim.

It's never too late to get into fitness, and this heart rate tracker could help you get there. Amazon is currently offering 35 per cent off the Fitbit Versa, which can track your steps, workout and heart rate, as well as play music and connect to your GPS so you can better track your jog around the block.
19. ghd Max Styler Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners
For years, ghd has been synonymous with hair straightening, given the high quality of their products (The Telegraph rated a ghd styler as one of the best hair straighteners on the market). Now, the Max Styler straighteners have been given a 26 per cent discount from Amazon. The straighteners have been praised for heating up quickly and being able to straighten even the thickest and curliest of hair. Amazon is also selling the ghd Original Styler Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners - a slightly older model, but a classic - for £81.99, down from £109.
