Yahoo Finance Best Amazon Black Friday 2019 deals: today's top offers in the UK sale, including Echo Dot and Sonos One speakers
Even though the official Black Friday 2019 sales date is tomorrow, November 29, Amazon started releasing its deals last Friday. Brand-new deals have been announced every day and, so far, Amazon has been offering some of the best Black Friday deals on televisions, laptops, headphones and smart devices. We have listed the best of today's deals below.
As the retailer that brought the November sales to the UK from the States, Amazon goes all-out on Black Friday. Last year alone, customers saved over £40 million in Amazon's Black Friday sales, and this year should be no different.
Amazon is not alone in starting its Black Friday sales before the official sales date, however. John Lewis and Currys PC World also launched their offers last Friday. Yet Amazon has a slight advantage because, on top of selling electricals and gadgets at a discounted price, the retailer also has Amazon-branded products (Echo Dots, Fire tablets, etc) in its sales.

There are numerous Black Friday deals to choose from today, but the below are the ones to especially look out for, according to The Telegraph:
Apple iPad Pro(10.5 Inch) - was £769, now £448.99. This older iPad model has a high quality retina display, decent camera and reviewers have praised it for its speed. Now, it is 42 per cent off in the sales. The 12.9-inch model is also in the sales, with a £50 discount, now costing £1,069.
Oral-B Genius 9000 CrossAction Electric Toothbrush - was £299.99, now £78.99. This round-headed toothbrush has six brushing modes and a pressure control sensor to alert you when you're brushing too hard.
Philips Series 3000 Wet & Dry Men’s Electric Shaver with Pop-up Trimmer - S3580/06 (UK 2-Pin Bathroom Plug) - was £110, now £39.99. This waterproof shaver gives a close shave and has 50 minutes of cordless running time before it needs recharging.
LG Electronics OLED55B9PLA 55-Inch UHD 4K HDR Smart OLED TV with Freeview Play - was £1,799.99, now £1,099. Expect excellent picture quality, due to the 4K Ultra High Definition Screen, optimised with OLED features, on this smart TV, which you can connect to Alexa devices.

1. Echo Dot (3rd Gen)
The popular smart speaker, enabled with Alexa, runs on voice command, meaning you can ask Alexa to play music, read the news, set an alarm, control compatible smart devices and answer any burning questions. The new Echo Dot (3rd Gen) with an LED display to show the time and weather is also in the sales, with a 42 per cent discount, but will not be available until December 22.
2. Echo Show 8
The Echo Show 8 is a surprise addition to this year's sales, given that it is a brand new model. The 8-inch HD Smart Display connects to Alexa and can play music (with a rich stereo sound), display photos, set alarms, show you the day's news and more. Also in today's sales, the older model of the Echo Show 5 has a 38 per cent discount, at £49.99, down from £79.99.
3. Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Electric Toothbrush
Promising to improve gum health in just two weeks, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean electric toothbrush may be a worthwhile investment this Black Friday. Philips claim that the toothbrush will remove 10 times more plaque than a manual toothbrush and reviewers have praised the toothbrush for removing stains from their teeth and being gentle on their gums. Now, you can get this toothbrush with an impressive 67 per cent discount.
4. Sennheiser HD 4.50 Special Edition, Over Ear Wireless Headphone with Active Noise Cancellation
This special edition of Sennheiser headphones, in a Matte Black colour exclusive to Amazon, is over half price in today's sales. The wireless Bluetooth headphones have been praised in reviews for their sound quality, and the noise cancellation that means you can really focus on your music. They have 19 hours of battery life, and they come with a two-year warranty.
5. Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9i Wireless Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones
These comfortable over-ear headphones from Bang & Olufsen have received positive reviews for their excellent sound quality and noise cancellation. The headphones can be paired to two devices at any one time, and the far-reaching Bluetooth range of 121 feet means you can listen to your music even if you don't have your phone on you. Amazon is currently selling these headphones with a 36 per cent discount, and they are available in black or cream.
6. Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Ultra HD with Alexa Voice Remote
The Fire TV stick allows you to use the Alexa voice remote to play your favourite shows in Ultra High Definition. Stream your favourite shows from BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Prime Video, All 4, Disney and others (subscription fees may apply). As well as watching shows, you can use the remote to dim the lights, check the weather and stream music.
7. Xbox One X 1TB Console - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Bundle
An ideal Christmas present for the gamer in the family, this Xbox One X console is now being sold in a bundle with a wireless controller and the new game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It's a good deal on a great console, which Telegraph writer Tom Higgins described as a "sleek, impressive machine" which could be the "home console on which games perform at their best.

Philips toothbrushes are being heavily discounted in the Amazon Black Friday sales this year. This set contains two toothbrushes and a travel case, with a 30 per cent discount. Philips claims this model will give you whiter teeth within seven days, compared to a manual toothbrush. It certainly has some stand-out features, including a pressure sensor to warn you when you're brushing too hard, and an alert that tells you when you need to replace a toothbrush head.
11. Shark Anti-Allergen Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner
Shark vacuums have been in high demand this year. This cordless model has been designed to move over both carpets and hard floors, and to pick up any hairs left behind by our pets. It's cordless, with an impressive 60 minute run time, and has received positive reviews for being lightweight and easy to use. The phone is hugely popular with Samsung aficionados, thanks to its 6.1-inch edge-to-edge curved infinity display and high quality triple camera. The smart watch is able to track your fitness, heart rate and even your sleeping patterns. Be warned, though: this deal will expire before midnight tonight.
15. Apple iPhone XS - Gold
This relatively new iPhone model is a surprise entrant for Amazon's Black Friday deals. The XS has a great quality camera, incorporating Portrait mode (where the camera focuses on the person and blurs the background, making your friend's face look sharper), depth control (where you can adjust the background blur) and Smart HDR (a professional camera technique that creates super high quality photos). While the camera is the star feature, there's also a 5.8-inch screen, ideal for catching up on your favourite shows on the commute, and the phone is water resistant.
16. Brother FS40 40-Stitch Electronic Sewing Machine with Instructional DVD
Whether you've always wanted to get into sewing, or you have a friend who is an expert in dressmaking, this electronic sewing machine might be for you. The model, from established sewing brand Brother, comes with 40 stitches, making it perfect for dressmaking or even larger projects. The machine has an automatic stitch selection and stitch length and width conrol, and it threads the bobbin automatically, meaning it's fairly simple to use. An instructional DVD is also included, which is ideal for beginners. Today, Amazon is offering up to 25 per cent off Brother sewing machines - but this deal will expire at midnight.
17. ghd Max Styler Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners
For years, ghd has been synonymous with hair straightening, given the high quality of their products (The Telegraph rated a ghd styler as one of the best hair straighteners on the market). Now, the Max Styler straighteners have been given a 26 per cent discount from Amazon. The straighteners have been praised for heating up quickly and being able to straighten even the thickest and curliest of hair. Amazon is also selling the ghd Original Styler Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners - a slightly older model, but a classic - for £81.99, down from £109.
18. Fire HD 10 Tablet
This is the newest Fire tablet from Amazon, and is up to 30 per cent faster than the previous models. It has 10 hours' battery and a 10.1" screen, so you can watch movies with ease on your commute. Plus, you can expect high quality picture definition, due to its 1080p Full HD display. Amazon's other established tablet, the Kindle, is also in the sales, with the Kindle Oasis now £179.99, down from £229.99.

The newest Apple Watch model has a 30 per cent larger screen than the Series 3, and has a wide range of functions. You can keep track of incoming calls and messages, and also listen to music, making it the ideal companion for any jog or (as it's waterproof) swim.
20. ASUS ZenBook UX333 Full HD 13.3 Inch Laptop
Lightweight, quick and with a slick aesthetic, this model from ASUS is excellent value for money. It has a fairly large 13.3-inch screen (a matter of personal preference) yet is smaller than a piece of A4 paper. If this lightweight runaround doesn't tickle your fancy, Amazon is offering up to 25 per cent off other models, including deals on the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and offerings from Acer and Dell.
