The best dressed stars from the 2019 CMA awards

The 2019 Country Music Association Awards are here and country's biggest superstars are bringing their A-list fashion game out on the red carpet in Nashville.

First, we spied Marren Morris in a Cinderella-esqué haute couture number. The newly pregnant country star rocked voluminous powder blue ensemble with midriff cut-outs. Morris is leading the pack with six nominations including Female Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year with “Girl."

Her singer-songwriter hubby, Ryan Hurd, also topped our best dressed list for the males rocking a polished navy suit with sleek lapels. Kelsea Ballerini was a top-contender in a sexy teal beaded floor-sweeping two-piece set. Gigi Hadid made a surprise appearance to support her friend, Kacey Musgraves. The supermodel looked seriously stunning in a white sequin turtleneck dress styled with western Fendi boots.

Nicole Kidman appeared later in the night, but didn't hold back in a burnt orange sequin dress with a fringed hem. The "Big Little Lies" star stepped out to support husband Keith Urban, who is nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Brandi Carlile suited up in an emerald green glittered blazer layered over a blush pink pussy-bow blouse and matching pants. The Highwomen songstress added her signature country flare by pairing her glitzy suit back with brown suede boots.

However, it was Jennifer Nettles' powersuit that made the biggest statement. The Sugarland frontwoman rocked a white flared suit with a fuchsia cape that read "Play Our F*@#!N Records. Please and Thank You." The powerful message comes after the music industry has faced major backlash for not playing female records on country radio.

Other best dressed included "Bachelorette" star Hannah Brown, Carly Pearce and Tenille Townes. Check them out in the gallery above.
