Hollywood’s biggest night kicked off on Sunday evening as stars arrived at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater in honor of the 95th Academy Awards. The night is sure to bring hilarious moments (thanks to host Jimmy Kimmel!), sweet acceptance speeches and, of course, incredible Oscars 2023 red carpet fashion.
Unsurprisingly, the A-list celebs were decked out in their finest to walk the red carpet — or should we say the champagne carpet? Voluminous skirts, thigh-high slits, corset boning and shades of white were the overwhelming Oscars fashion trends this year, along with slicked-back hairstyles and plenty of sparkling diamonds.
Florence Pugh, known for her show-stopping Oscars dresses, opted for a bold design from Valentino’s fall 2022 couture collection paired with Tiffany & Co. jewels. Stephanie Hsu, nominated for Actress in a Supporting Role, also looked beautiful in a pink Valentino confection. Halle Bailey stepped out in a bright blue Dolce & Gabbana dress for the occasion.
Austin Butler and Paul Mescal, both nominees for Actor in a Leading Role, looked handsome in Saint Laurent and Gucci, respectively.
