There's plenty of exciting new television to get stuck into tonight (11 February) with completely original programmes and new episodes of continuing series.

Gemma Collins is chatting to Piers Morgan on his Life Stories show, while Drag Race UK takes on Eurovision in the fifth episode of the so-far acclaimed season.

Elsewhere, Adam Curtis follows up his 2016 documentary HyperNormalisation with a lengthy new six part series.

Adam Curtis is back with a new series taking viewers on a journey into the emotional history of our world from around the mid 1900s up until now.

There he tackles power and paranoia by exploring the failure of many radical political projects in the 20th Century, bringing together a broad spectrum of characters.

His films typically take a hypnotic form, drawing us in with plenty of archive footage and a gripping score along with his signature voiceover, with this series no exception.

All six episodes have been made available to watch from today, if you've got time to sit back and relax for a full eight hours.

Drag Race UK's second season hits the mid-point of the series with its fifth episode available on BBC iPlayer from 7pm tonight.

The UK version has proved to be a huge hit, with a sense of fun and supportive camaraderie between the contestants that's been missing from the original US series of late.

It's also set to have an injection of pandemic drama as last week's episode teased the enforced break production had to take as filming was halted because of the coronavirus last year.

As they pick up filming months later, the contestants are tasked with a Eurovision challenge as they form rival Europop groups, to be judged by none other than Eurovision expert Graham Norton, RuPaul, Michelle Visage and guest judge, producer MNEK.

Inside Culture with Mary Beard - BBC Two - 7pm

Broadcaster Mary Beard delves into Fact vs Fiction in the fourth episode of her Inside Culture series as she probes the concerns about the blurring between the two.

It hints toward some recent hot topics following on from the suggestion of "truth warnings" for The Crown and the colourblind casting for Regency romp drama Bridgerton.

Beard hears from the Bafta-winning actor Jason Watkins who knows a thing or two about playing real life people and historian Michael Scott about the muddling of fact and fiction in archaeology in relation to new film The Dig.

Essex diva Gemma Collins has her life put under the microscope in the latest instalment of Piers Morgan's Life Stories, but viewers can expect the interview with the Queen of Memes to be an emotional affair despite her public persona.

Collins touches upon being the victim of bullying at school as well as receiving abuse online and in real life after making it into the public eye - demonstrating the sometimes costly price of fame.

Morgan has even recently said she received death threats just for being on the programme.

It looks set to be an interesting glimpse into the struggles of the 40-year-old who often plays heavily into her 'GC' persona.

Rob & Romesh Vs - Sky One - 10pm

Comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan returned with their Vs series last week as they were tasked with becoming artists, but the second instalment sees them tackle golf.

The pair head to St Andrews for a round and even get a lesson from English pro Justin Rose as Beckett tries to win his co-star round on the sport.

The chemistry between the two funnymen and the contrast between Beckett's enthusiasm and Ranganathan's cynacism makes for a entertaining evening watch.
