Yahoo Finance Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk promises he'll "be back soon" after heart attack
Update 30/7/21: Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk has tweeted for the first time since suffering a "small heart attack" on the show's set.
The actor collapsed on the set of the Breaking Bad spin-off earlier this week, with his condition remaining publicly unclear for the better part of 24 hours.
Odenkirk has since clarified that he suffered a heart attack, but tweeted on Friday (July 30) to assure fans he is on the mend.
"Hi. It's Bob. Thank you. To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week," he tweeted. "And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me. It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much.
"I had a small heart attack. But I'm going to be ok thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery.
"Also, AMC and SONYs support and help throughout this has been next-level. I'm going to take a beat to recover but I'll be back soon."

Previously, a spokesperson for the 58-year-old has now stated that Odenkirk is in "stable condition" as he remains under doctors' care.
"We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident," his representative told Digital Spy. "He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side.
"The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery."
Bob's son Nate Odenkirk offered even more encouraging news in a subsequent tweet early on Thursday morning.
"He's going to be okay," Nate tweeted.

According to TMZ, Odenkirk, who stars as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman, fell ill whilst shooting scenes for the Breaking Bad spin-off's final season in New Mexico. He was immediately surrounded by crew members who called an ambulance.
It's being reported that Odenkirk is still receiving medical care in hospital, although no further details are available at this time.

Digital Spy has reached out to Odenkirk's representatives seeking comment.
Back in June, the two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner told Digital Spy that he had "very mixed feelings" regarding Better Call Saul coming to an end with its sixth season.
"I don't think you can watch the show, and I can't play this guy, without growing to want him to succeed, and liking him, and wanting to be a better version of himself, is really what I want. I'm not sure that's where he'll end up, though," Odenkirk said.

"I do like him," he added. "I think he's got some good skills. He just doesn't know where to put them.
"But also, I'll be happy to move onto other characters, because I have played him a long time."
Better Call Saul seasons 1-5 are streaming on Netflix.
