Beyonce Ditches Lemonade For Watermelon Water

Beyonce may have just released an album called Lemonade, but it seems there's another beverage that has caught her imagination.

The superstar has decided to invest in a new company called WTRMLN WTR, which makes "deliciously hydrating" watermelon juice.

According to the start-up, Beyonce is "aligned with many of the company's core values, especially its commitment to empowerment".

The edgy beverage consists only of watermelon and "a drop of organic lemon juice", and a pack of 12 bottles currently costs an eye-watering $39.99 (£27).

It has been advertised as a product ideal for mothers on the go, fitness enthusiasts and "bedroom friends".

In a statement, Beyonce described her involvement as "an investment in female leaders, fitness, American farmers and the health of people and our planet".
