BHP plans to shut Shenzi, Neptune platforms in U.S. Gulf by Wednesday- company

HOUSTON (Reuters) - BHP Group Plc <BHP.AX> plans to shut the Shenzi and Neptune production platforms in the U.S.-regulated northern Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday after evacuating all workers ahead of Tropical Storm Delta, a company spokeswoman said.

BHP began evacuations from those operations on Monday, BHP spokeswoman Judy Dane said. Non-essential personnel were being taken on-shore on Monday.
