A planning application has been submitted to allow 17 people to move into a Glasgow flat.

The bid, currently being considered by the council, relates to a two-story home at 619 Shields Road in Pollokshields.

According to documents, the property has five bedrooms, two kitchens, two lounges, a storage area and a stairwell.

Plans would transform this into ten bedrooms, each with two beds with the exception of one.

Each room would also be equipped with an en suite bathroom.

Applicant Saleem Aslam is requesting a house in multiple occupancy status.

There is one objection on the papers, from a neighbour who cited waste removal, noise levels and parking as reasons.

Glasgow City Council bosses are expected to make a decision by Friday, November 10.

The last day for comments is Friday, October 13.
