Yahoo Finance Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2019 deals: best savings and discounts today
As the Black Friday 2019 weekend draws to a close, there are still major discounts to be had on everything from TVs and laptops to beauty products and home tech.
Last year, around £1.49bn was spent on UK online retail sites on Black Friday itself, according to IMRG, up from £1.39bn a year earlier, with smart home devices among the best sellers. Customers saved £40 million on Amazon's Black Friday deals alone, and it is estimated that a quarter of all sales during the four-day period between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Early figures for 2019 suggest this year's sale could break buying records, indicating the appetite for Black Friday deals is not abating.
Whether you're traditionally an in-store bargain hunter or someone who likes to shop on a smartphone from the comfort of your own bed, you're spoilt for choice online this year. But how do you sift the good deals from the bad?
Luckily, we have scoured the internet and rounded-up of our favourite Black Friday weekend deals on Sunday.
Best Black Friday deals: Amazon
1. Echo Dot (3rd Gen)
This smart speaker uses voice command (Alexa) to play music, answer questions, update you on the day's news and more. It has a sleek pebble-like design that will suit any room, and it's impressive 56 per cent discount makes it particularly good value for money. If you already have a pair of decent speakers, however, Amazon is offering the Echo Input (which allows any external speaker to become an Alexa-enabled device) at over half price today, at £14.99, down from £34.99.
2. Echo Show 8
We're surprised that the Echo Show 8 is in the sales, and with such a significant discount, given that it is a brand new model. This 8-inch HD Smart Display connects to Alexa and allows you to view your photos, hear the day's news, set an alarm or listen to music, with its rich stereo sound. If you're looking for even more of a bargain, try to Echo Show 5, also in today's sales, which is now just £49.99, down from £79.99.
3. Sennheiser HD 599 Special Edition headphones
These special edition Sennheiser headphones, exclusive to Amazon, are almost £100 off in today's Black Friday sale. They're one of the best from the premium brand's audio arsenal, too; the build and sound quality are perfection, the ear cups and headband are cushioned for exceptional quality, and their 'ergonomic acoustic refinement' (E.A.R.) design channels audio like no other.
4. Fire HD 10 Tablet
Amazon's latest and greatest Fire tablet has taken pride of place in its Black Friday sales. The HD 10 is still the priciest of the lot, of course, but its tech specs speak for themselves. The tablet is up to 30 per cent faster, according to Amazon, and has a larger 10.1" screen, making it ideal for catching up on your favourite shows during your commute. It also has 10 hours of battery life and a super-crisp 1080p Full HD display.
Older Fire models are also on offer this year, should you want to buy a few as Christmas gifts, and the Fire HD 8 is actually fairly similar to the HD 10 (only with a smaller and lower-quality screen). The best Fire HD deals include:

Boasting a 4.8-litre capacity and iconic retro design, it is both a pragmatic and decorative kitchen addition. For a little extra (£349), you can get the stand mixer in a striking red colour from John Lewis.

20. Apple iPhone 11
Now £37 per month, £75 upfront
Though there are currently no sim-free deals, the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro are a veritable bargain this Black Friday, considering they are in such high demand. The differences between handsets are simple, too: the 11 comes with a two-camera set-up while the 11 Pro has three outer cameras, the 11 has a slightly smaller battery, the waterproofing is slightly less deep on the 11, and the 11 is made of aluminium rather than stainless steel. Not that much of that makes a difference to the average user. If you’re an iPhone obsessive, the 11 is a great choice for a flawless screen, a beautiful camera, and plenty of colour options.

Where value for money is considered, this might just be the best Black Friday deal of them all. What about Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday 2019 will take place on December 2 this year, despite the sales day's growing futility. While Cyber Monday was once the day Black Friday-worthy deals would finally appear online, many of the best Black Friday deals are now web-only from the very start of the sales period.
That's not to say there won't be fantastic deals, of course. Amazon typically saves a few big bargains for Cyber Monday and an increasing number of retailers take site-wide discounts even lower, particularly if they haven't sold all they expected to.
