Bo Bichette accidentally convinces ESPN host that he wrote a Justin Bieber song

Aside from being a tremendous baseball player, Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette proved in an interview with ESPN’s Karl Ravech that he can also sing a little, too.

In a virtual sit-down, Ravech brought up the 23-year-old’s interest in singing and songwriting, which oddly led to him asking Bichette to sing a little bit for the show.

We learned two things in Bichette’s response. One, the ballplayer isn’t a bad singer, and two, Ravech isn’t listening to a lot of new music these days.

Bichette sang a couple of lines from Justin Bieber’s latest song ‘Peaches,’ but Ravech, unknowingly and awkwardly, thought this was an original song of Bichette’s.

If I was in Bichette’s situation, I would’ve just taken credit for it.

Although he was singing hits, Bichette didn’t have any of his own in the Blue Jays’ Opening Day, extra-innings 3-2 victory over the New York Yankees.
