Boots' menopause hub launches to help you find solutions for all 40 signs and symptoms
To coincide with World Menopause Day on Monday (18 October), Boots has launched a dedicated hub to make it easier for customers find solutions for all 40 signs and symptoms of the menopause.
The high street retailer's new Menopause Support page allows you to search for products and services by symptom, including hair thinning and skin dryness.
You can also access prescription treatments through Boots' Online Doctor Service, giving you access to experts with specialist menopause training. This will cover all stages, from the perimenopause to post-menopause, and will offer access to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) tablets, patches and gels, helping customers find the most suitable treatment options for them.
The service aims to provide quick access to advice and treatments through an online consultation form that can take as little as five minutes, without you having to see a GP. The initiative follows new research from Boots revealing that 43% of those who use digital healthcare services would rather seek menopause treatment online, as they feel it's faster than a GP appointment.
Bernadette Lavery, Director of Pharmacy, Boots UK said in a release: 'People who are struggling with the symptoms of menopause do not need to manage them alone. There are often a lot of questions surrounding menopause and our pharmacists are on-hand to offer support for patients to help them manage it appropriately.
'The menopause is a natural process, but it is different for everyone. Boots pharmacists are always here to listen and can provide tailored advice and support to help customers deal with their symptoms.'
