BP restores Whiting refinery units after malfunction-local media
HOUSTON, April 20 (Reuters) - BP Plc (LSE: BP.L - news) restored several units to production at its 405,000 barrel per day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana refinery on Friday afternoon after they were knocked out of operation for about three hours by a malfunction, according to a local media report.
Non-essential workers were ordered to evacuate the refinery while the unidentified units were malfunctioning and then returning to production, according to the report posted on the website of The Times of Northwest Indiana.
