BP Whiting refinery reformer production increasing -sources

HOUSTON, Aug 8 (Reuters) - BP Plc was working to return the reformer to full production on Monday at the company's 413,500 barrel per day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana refinery, sources familiar with plant operations said.

Gasoline production from the refinery has increased, the sources said as the reformer's restart continues. The refinery is also working to resume normal operation at the wastewater plant, which caused higher than permitted discharges of sediment into Lake Michigan last week.
