BP's Whiting, Indiana refinery preparing CDU, FCCU for restart - sources

HOUSTON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - BP Plc was preparing on Thursday a crude distillation unit and a gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit for restart at the company's 413,500 barrel per day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana refinery, said sources familiar with plant operations.

BP is completing planned work on the 90,000 bpd CDU and the 110,000 bpd FCCU, which were among units shut for a multiunit overhaul that began on Sept. 20. The CDU and FCCU are expected back in production by the end of November, the sources said. (Reporting by Erwin Seba, editing by G Crosse)
