MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Brady Corp. (BRC) on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $34.8 million.

On a per-share basis, the Milwaukee-based company said it had profit of 65 cents.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 57 cents per share.

The identification and security products maker posted revenue of $289.7 million in the period.

Brady expects full-year earnings to be $2.35 to $2.40 per share.

Brady shares have risen nearly 6% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 18% in the last 12 months.
