Britain very close to Brexit transition deal with the EU -minister

LONDON, March 12 (Reuters) - Britain is very close to agreeing the details of an implementation period with the European Union for its transition out of the the bloc, junior Brexit minister Robin Walker said on Monday.

A spokesman for Prime Minister Theresa May earlier said that Britain was still confident it could reach agreement with the EU on a transition period after Brexit at an EU summit later this month. (Reporting by William James Writing by Alistair Smout; Editing by Stephen Addison)
