Brookfield Property: 1Q Earnings Snapshot

HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ Brookfield Property Partners LP (BPY) on Monday reported first-quarter net income of $333 million.

On a per-share basis, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had net income of 32 cents.

The real estate company posted revenue of $1.5 billion in the period.

Brookfield Property shares have risen 30% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen roughly 8% in the last 12 months.
