BT Services Hit By Mystery UK Outage

BT's broadband network and other services have been hit by a mystery outage, which the company says it is working to fix.

The company was yet to confirm what had led to the glitch and exactly what services were affected but its website was down and social media users reported problems with broadband and landline phones.

The communications firm released a statement via Twitter (Xetra: A1W6XZ - news) that said: "Sorry if your are [sic] experiencing network problems. Engineers are on site now. We will keep you updated."

It (Other OTC: ITGL - news) is understood that users are experiencing problems across the UK.
