** Peer Vedanta Resources, which posted H1 results on Thursday, +15%, with Kaz Minerals (LSE: KAZ.L - news) and Evraz (LSE: EVR.L - news) both up ~10%, BHP Billiton (NYSE: BBL - news) +3.8% and Glencore (Xetra: A1JAGV - news) 6.4% higher
