** Suggests early move largely a relief rally as in-line results and strong numbers from Apple (NasdaqGS: AAPL - news) help arrest recent stock weakness.
** Medium to longer-term concerns remain, particularly around royalty payments growth, remain.
** Q3 pretax profit for ARM rose 9 pct to £101.2 mln, broadly in line with expectations.
** ARM up as much as 2.2 pct in early, trades flat to slightly higher.
** Apple, which uses ARM designs in its iPhone 6, reported a better than expected 16 pct jump in iPhone sales on Monday.
